Lorna McCormack MSc is the dynamic Founder and Director of Wool in School, an innovative educational initiative dedicated to integrating the fascinating world of wool into school curriculums. Lorna has a MSc. Agricultural Innovation, University of Galway, comes from a Social Care background, fluent in Irish Sign Language, and a professional Fibre Artist.
Lorna’s ability to blend education with sustainability and art has earned her recognition as a thought leader in her field. She frequently speaks at industry conferences, advocating for a stronger connection between education, climate change and the wool industry. Her work continues to inspire curiosity and action, making a lasting impact on both community and students as well as climate action.

Now with associations across the world through membership with IWTO, locally with the Heritage in Schools. Lorna is also a Dandelion with Project Dandelion a female led global campaign for climate justice. As a Climate Leader and an EU Climate Pact Ambassador Lorna understands every issue is a climate issue including wool education and climate smart skills.
