Discover the World of Wool

Discovering the world of wool with children is an enchanting journey into creativity, heritage, and hands-on learning and Climate Smart Skills.  As they delve into the soft, vibrant fibres, children uncover the fascinating process that transforms raw wool into beautiful, functional textiles. They learn about the origins of wool, tracing its journey from the backs of sheep to the yarns in their hands, gaining a deep appreciation for this natural resource.

Teaching children about wool connects them with nature, history, and each other. It’s an immersive, enriching experience that sparks curiosity, nurtures creativity, and lays the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of heritage, sustainability and the world around them.  We also aim to help children find their voice in the battle for climate renewal and climate justice.

Here at wool in School we have worked with over 30,000+ children
